Clozed Code

1 Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how the Clozed Code Android application ("the app", "we", "us") handles information. The app is an AI coding agent that runs locally on your phone. You connect it to an artificial-intelligence provider of your choice using your own API key.

Because the app works on-device and talks directly to the provider you configure, the developer of this app does not collect, store on a server, sell or share any of your personal data. There is no account to sign up for.

2 What we collect

The developer of Clozed Code does not collect any personal data. Specifically, we do not:

All app settings, chat sessions, saved provider keys and created files are stored locally in the app's private storage on your device (or in the project folder you choose).

3 API keys

You enter your own API key(s) for the AI provider(s) you want to use. These keys are:

• stored only on your device in the app's private data;
• sent only to the provider the key belongs to, as part of the normal API request;
• never transmitted to the developer of this app;
• removable at any time from the app's Settings.

4 Files & code

When you start a session you choose a working folder on your device. The agent reads and writes files only inside that folder (and the app's own private storage). To answer your request, the app sends the relevant parts of those files, along with your instructions, to the AI provider you selected.

• Your files are not uploaded to any server operated by the developer.
• Files are processed by your chosen AI provider under that provider's own privacy policy.
• You can revoke folder access at any time by changing or removing the folder in the app.

5 Third-party AI providers

The app is a client. The actual AI processing happens at the provider you choose and configure. The developer is not affiliated with, and does not control, those providers. Your prompts, file content and API key are handled by the provider under their privacy policy and terms.

Please review your chosen provider's privacy policy before sending sensitive code or data.

6 Permissions we request

The app asks only for what it needs to work, and asks you at runtime:

• Internet — to reach the AI provider and websites you request.
• Notifications — to show a "working" notification and tell you when a long task finishes.
• Run in background / battery — so a long task can keep running with the screen off.
• Folder / storage access — to read and write the project folder you choose.
• Text-to-speech (optional) — only if you enable the voice completion announcement.

You can deny or revoke any of these in your device settings; the related feature simply stops working.

7 Data storage & deletion

Everything the app keeps — settings, sessions, saved keys, generated files — lives on your device. We keep nothing on any server.

• Delete individual sessions inside the app.
• Remove API keys in the app's Settings.
• Uninstalling the app removes all of its local data.

Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to delete on our side.

8 Children's privacy

The app is a developer tool and is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has used the app, simply uninstall it to remove all local data.

9 Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example if the app's features change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change, and material changes will be reflected here. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
